Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser has not been the shining star in their software arsenal for some time. Internet Explorer 8 was a valiant effort to try to get IE to compete with the likes of Firefox and Google Chrome. But Microsoft has not been able to keep up. Internet Explorer 8 is significantly slower than it’s competition, particularly in it’s Javascript engine (used by all but the most basic websites) and it’s graphics rendering. They may sometimes be late to the game, but they, by no means, site back and watch.
